PURPOSE:To realize the uniform orientation of material in a cavity and consequently manufacture an annular permanent magnet, the uniform magnetization of which is obtained, by a method wherein an annular gate is provided at the inner peripheral or outer peripheral edge on one edge face of an annular cavity so as to pour plastic magnet material in the cavity from the gate. At the outer peripheral part of an isotropic annular permanent magnet produced by the above-mentioned method, the most part of particles of the magnetic powder distribute uniformly under the state that their directions of the thickness are directed radially, resulting in forming uniformly orientated state over the whole periphery on the gate side and on the counter-gate side alike.
