The nonwoven textile is made up of at least two layers 13 and 14 of nonwoven tissue consisting of thermoplastic monofilaments, for example of polypropylene and polyethylene. Advantageously, the filaments of the first layer are bilobar and those of the second layer are trilobar. The textile is suitable particularly for the production of linings for babies' nappies or of coverings for sanitary towels. IMAGE
