PURPOSE:To efficiently break up a scrapped vessel by arranging a cutting device for cutting-disassembling the scrapped vessel into a scrapped vessel holding device which is installed in free elevation in a working space between the right and left hulls and isolating the working space from the outside sea surface. CONSTITUTION:An FRP scrapped vessel 5 is guided into the upper part of a lattice-shaped processing board 7 and a scrapped vessel holding device installed in a working space 4 by using a winch of a catamaran ship. Then the processing board 7 is raised, and an extended sheet 14 is taken up onto a taking-up roll 26, and the working sea area 12 is isolated from the common sea area 13. The scrapped vessels 5 is cut by jetting the superhigh pressure water from a superhigh pressure water injection nozzle 9 set at the top edge of an articulated manipulator 8. Therefore, the scrapped vessel 5 left on the seashore at each plate can be broken up efficiently and safely without contaminating environment.
