PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of breakage of a film during curved line construction by a method in which a reinforcing material composed of fibers or tapes of aramide resin, etc., having high tensile strength and high wear resistance is provided for a water-impermeable film composed of a thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcing material 2 composed of fibers or tapes of aramide, carbon, glass, or superhigh molecular weight of polyethylene, having high tensile strength and high wear resistance is provided in about four lines for a water- impermeable film 1 composed primarily of a thermoplastic resin to form a reinforced water-impermeable film. The use of the reinforced water-impermeable film enables one to prevent breakage of the film 1 against compression, friction, and abrasion caused by the components of tube propulsive force even during curved line construction.
