PURPOSE:The titled talc that is made by coating talc particles of specific particle sizes with polyalkylene glycol on the surface, thus showing good whiteness, high opacity and good printability. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. of talc of less than 10mu average particle size are sprayed with 0.1-10pts. of polyalkylene glycol to form the coating film of polyalkylene glycol on the surface of the talc. Thus, the objective talc used as a filler component for paper or a component for paint is obtained, because of its causing of no dust flying and of high dispersibility in water.
