Device for the aseptic handling of the connectors of transfer equipment on exchange of the bags during continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD), and plastic bag filled with a dialysate
For exchange of the bags during continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) a disposable bag of transparent film is used and is filled with a liquid disinfectant and inside it the connectors etc. of transfer equipment can be exchanged in order to produce a connection to a new plastic bag filled with dialysate. This bag 60 is subdivided by weld seams 61 into at least three chambers 60a, 60b, 60c which communicate with each other in such a way that dialysate can be removed by consecutively squeezing the chambers, and free chambers can be filled with the filtration amount to be collected from the patient. The multi-chamber bag allows the exchange of connectors for the connection of a new multi-chamber bag filled with dialysate to be postponed. IMAGE
