The invention relates to a baffle-plate mounting with baffle plate for oil or gas burners which have a mixing device with an oil or gas nozzle pipe bearing the baffle-plate mounting and with a flame pipe surrounding the baffle-plate mounting and the baffle plate. Such baffle-plate mountings usually consist of a prefabricated unit which is intended for displaceable mounting on the oil or gas nozzle pipe and which has a plurality of holding elements arranged radially in relation to the baffle-plate axis and distributed about the latter and on which the baffle-plate is fastened. According to the invention, the holding elements (7) are designed to be radially resilient and provided with outer edges (16) which are arranged at an angle to the baffle-plate axis and intended for support on the inner casing of the flame pipe (1), as a result of which an exact centring of the baffle plate in the flame pipe is achieved irrespective of the manufacturing tolerances of the latter (Fig. 1).
