摘要

The impact crusher, e.g. for car bodies, includes a housing (24) inside which a rotor assembly (22) operates. The car bodies (14) are fed into the crusher down a ramp (12) past flattening rollers (16,18) and are disintegrated by hammer elements (32) of the rotor. The hammer elements are freely rotatable on bolts extending axially through holes near the periphery of the rotor discs, which are mounted on a shaft (30) with spacing discs between them. The hammer elements work together with an anvil surface (34) and the smaller crushed particles drop through a grille (36) below the rotor to a discharge belt conveyor (48). A similar grille (38) is mounted above the rotor for smaller particles ejected upwards by the hammer elements. These particles fall through a channel (44) onto the discharge conveyor, which takes the crushed particles to further work stations.
