Five striker hammers(3) are installed on each impact disc(2). The difference between the diameter(DR) of the breaker's rotor(1) and diameter(DS) of the impact discs, and with it the hammer projection(HU), is selected as large as possible. The oscillating chamber(5) for the striker hammers have the smallest possible distance between them. The rotor centre pin(8) has a pentagonal cross section with each of the five surfaces facing a corresponding oscillating chamber.
