PURPOSE:To recover zinc-contg. silver concentrate and lead sulfate concentrate wherein silver or lead is concd. effectively by employing a nonreduction melting method for zinc leached slag, melting zinc ferrite in the melting stage thereof completely and further adapting a flotation method for secondarily leached residues. CONSTITUTION:Leached ore slurry of 35-60g/l free sulfuric acid, and =35g/l ferric ion obtd. by mixing of zinc leached slag and sulfuric acid of 75-80 deg.C is subjected to solid-liquid sepn. at=80 deg.C. The separated liquid contg. zinc and iron is supplied to a zinc recovering system. The spigots are mixed with concd. sulfuric acid to prepare ore slurry of =100g/l free sulfuirc acid and =30g/l ferric ions. The ore slurry is subjected to solid-liquid sepn. to obtain spigots as secondarily elached residues and separated sulfuic acid soln. The spigots are made into ore slurry of =50g/l free sulfuric acid, =30g/l zinc ions and =15g/ l ferric ions by repulping; then the ore slurry is subjected to flotation, whereby silver concentrate contg. zinc as floating ore and tailing are obtained. Acetic acid salts of C12-20 primary amines are added to the tailing and the tailing is floated by flotation, whereby lead sulfate concentrate is obtained.
