Road map with key map on front - has separate detail maps behind and has aligned edge openings shaped to allow lifting selected map by inserted pin
The road map assembly comprises a front panel showing a general key map with a number of separate detail maps behind it. The edges of the front panel and of the detail maps are provided with aligned openings or cutouts and specific areas on the front each refer to one of these openings. The corresponding opening in the detail map showing that area is different in shape e.g. closed at the edge when all others are open. The relevant detail map can be separated from the stack by inserting a pin and moving it e.g. upward movement lifts the selected map out of the stack.
