The proposed modification to a distortion correcting circuit is applicable to telecommunications equipment. The incoming signal enters through an interface unit (G) which may divide it into two or more paths. One path goes to a delay line (HF) accepting all frequencies, the other may go to a frequency switch (W) feeding a pilot frequency corrector (P1) and, through a band pass filter (BP), to a second delay line (NF) of limited frequency. From the broad band line (HF) a second pilot frequency may be extracted and passed to a further pilot corrector (P2). - The input is connected through a second interface (H) to a bus (SA) to which the outputs of the delay line correctors (HF,NF) and pilot correctors (P1,P2) are also connected.
