The compensator is primarily intended for process data installations. The interference fields to be compensated are generated by electric conductors and affect both the image screens and television cameras. To the electric conductors (P) is connected a current transformer (W), delivering a secondary current. The transformer is connected to a compensation coil (Sp), coupled to the interference suffering object (M). The transformer secondary current generates in the compensation coil a magnetic field, oposing the interference field of the respective conductor, with resulting compensation. Preferably, a variable resistor (Sh) is connected in parallel to the compensation coil which may have an iron core. The compensation coil may be matched to the shape of the interference field.
