The plant comprises at least two vehicles (1-2) comprising retractable rear faces (17) which enable them to be coupled in pairs via their front faces (19-20), one of the said vehicles being provided with a sealing means (21), removable assembly members (22) providing the coupling of the said vehicles (1-2), these two vehicles being provided with kneading stations (11) and cooking stations (6) respectively connected to a water reservoir carried by a vehicle and to the generating set (7) providing the electrical power needed for their operation such that the entire plant is mounted so as to be mobile on wheels. The principle use of the invention is the production of bread for troops in the field or on manoeuvres. IMAGE
