Flowers (40, 42, 44, 46, 48) are exposed in a vessel which comprises a base (2) supporting the lower ends of the rods (140, 142, 144, 146, 148) flowers at distant points the vertical axis of the vessel, and a retaining ring (8, 8a, 8b, 8c, 8d, or 8e) bear exclusively on the rods to hold them together following an intersecting arrangement in a substantially smaller area than the surface in the remote database over the base and substantially centered relative to the central axis of the vase. The lower parts of the rods (140, 142, 144, 146, and 148) converge back to the top to form a tripod is by the rods which support each other and support the retaining ring, the upper portions of the rods diverging towards the top away from the retaining ring.
