The inhalation instrument is used for treatment of breathing passages. The instrument has an ultrasonic generator with atomising plate facing the inhalation funnel. The inhalation liq. is delivered to the surface of the plate by capillary effect. The distributor element (14) is connected by capillary-action wick (18) to the liq. storage. Alternatively, the connector can be a capillary tube made from a material which ensures that liq. does not adhere to it. The connecting element can be held in the tube on the storage cover. The connecting element projects deep into the storage container and supplies liquid to atomising plate (13).
