Single or double-breast prosthesis is made using a plaster mould from which a plastic cast is made and filled with soft crosslinked silicone rubber. After curing, the outer sheath is removed. The nipple and the areola of the nipple are made with natural pigmentation and porosity. The prosthesis may be used e.g. after an operation for removal of one or both breasts for cancer, or for underdeveloped breasts.
