[Class 44.] The base 3 of a savings box or coin bank comprises spaced members 5, 8 within which two look bolts 23 are slidably held, a spring 37 normally forcing the bolts through slots 22 in flanges 21 extending from the core 11 through the base and locking the latter to the core; the bolts are withdrawn from the slots 22 by turning a key inserted in a barrel 36 between the bolts.
