Stands.-A work basket or table comprises a folding frame carrying a flexible hammock B having an extension B1 forming an apron for work or when closed forming a cover for the hammock. The extension B1 is carried by arms B2 pivoted to the frame. A reversible table top carries clips or pockets on one side. The frame comprises four upright A2, A3, connected on two opposite sides by folding bars A6, A7, hinged thereto and on the other two sides by fixed bars, and is held erected by a hinged locking stay A'‹ and a slotted bar A11 engaging a pin A12 on the frame bar A6. An upward pull on a cord F on the bar A7 assists in folding the frame, which is retained by a catch in the folded position.
