252,279. Caley, E. C. Feb. 26, 1925. Compound or composite slabs.-Wall slabs are formed of casings comprising perpendicular members A each provided with ribs a1 to form shoulders to which longitudinal boards B are nailed on each side, and vertical battens D are attached to the exterior of each set of boards. Wire netting or expanded metal is secured to the battens D and uprights either before or after erection of the slabs in the wall, and cement or plaster is applied to such backing. Adjacent sections may be bolted together or the end perpendicular members of such sections may be arranged to interlock. Sand, rubble, &c. F is filled into the space between the two sets of boards B and distancepieces C are provided.
