Recording marks obtained by students.-Script sheets or leaves of books for use in examinations have their margins cut to form a thumb index of tabs A - - F so as to leave a portion of each sheet in view when the sheets are in register, and upon the exposed parts the number of marks awarded on the corresponding sheet is indicated in a perpendicular column so that the marks can be added up without transcribing. The base of the table may be marked with a border line G to indicate the exposed part.
