101,135. Sharp, W. May 29, 1916 Fencing posts and standards, formed of thin steel tubes capable of being filled with concrete or other strengthening-material after erection, are provided with hardened points formed by flattening the end of the tube and turning over the corners 3 as shown in Fig. 3. The points are hardened after being formed. Instead of turning over the corners, the flattened end may be hardened or bent to semicircular form, as shown in Fig. 7. Wroughtiron caps are provided to facilitate driving.
