The invention describes a method for monitoring the blades (5) of a wind turbine (1), comprising the steps:- providing a camera (10) facing the blades (5) of the wind turbine (1),- capturing with the camera (10) a number of images (P) of a blade (5) while the blade (5) is in motion, wherein the camera (10) is adjusted and controlled such that each image (P) of the number of images (P) shows a predefined area of a blade (5) in a predefined area of the image (P).;The invention further describes a related system and a wind turbine.
