A flame retardant dry-mixed mortar for ecological building external walls, comprising the following main components: pulverized coal gangue of different particle sizes, silicate cement and a molybdenum sulfide composite fullerene material. Replacing the original non-renewable minerals with a regenerated material saves mineral resources and energy resources. Adding glutinous rice flour and the molybdenum sulfide composite fullerene material improves the binding performance and construction performance of the dry-mixed mortar. Adding expanded vermiculite powder and the molybdenum sulfide composite fullerene material improves the flame retardancy of the dry-mixed mortar. Said dry-mixed mortar not only has low cost, but also has wide range of raw material sources, thereby being beneficial for reducing environmental burden, and complying with the requirements of the country for energy conservation and environmental protection in the building industry.
