Provided by the present application are a person re-identification network training method and a person re-identification method and apparatus. The present application relates to the field of artificial intelligence, and relates in particular to the field of computer vision. The method comprises: obtaining M training images and annotation data of the M training images; performing initialization processing on a network parameter of a person re-identification network so as to obtain an initial value of the network parameter of the person re-identification network; inputting a batch of training images among the M training images into the person re-identification network to perform feature extraction so as to obtain a feature vector of each training image in the batch of training images; then determining a loss function according to the feature vectors of the batch of training images; and obtaining, according to a function value of the loss function, a person re-identification network that meets a preset requirement. In the present application, a person re-identification network having good performance may be trained when data is labelled using a single image photographing device.
