The endoscope image processing device 32 includes an image input unit 33 in which a plurality of observation images obtained by imaging a subject with the endoscope 21 are sequentially input, and a lesion portion to be observed by the endoscope 21. It is provided with a lesion detection unit 34 that detects the image from the observation image, and a display control unit 36 that adds the detection result of the lesion to the observation image and outputs the image. The display control unit 36 includes a lesion state analysis unit 36b that analyzes the state of the lesion, and a display extension time setting unit 36c that sets the display extension time of the detection result of the lesion according to the state of the lesion.
