PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece component which can secure corrosion resistance and is marked for identification notation and design expression. SOLUTION: A watch component is formed between a base composed of a ferrite phase, a surface layer composed of an austenitic phase, and the base portion and the surface layer, and the ferrite phase and the austenitic phase.
