The method is based on measuring the level of MMP-9 mRNA in the blood plasma relative to the representation of the reference RNA. The obtained indicators are used to calculate the ratio of expression levels for each specific sample. The value of the obtained indicator is interpreted as a marker of early tumor formation in the mammary gland and ovaries.
