摘要

The invention relates to the field of optics and quantum physics and concerns a teaching and research laboratory bench for studying the polarization and correlation properties of single-photon, two-photon, coherent and thermal light fields, Hong-Ou-Mandel interference and homodyne detection. The bench comprises a pump laser module, a two-photon source module, A and B channel polarization measurement modules, a correlation measurement module, a coherent and thermal state source module, and a homodyne detection module. The two-photon source module contains a polarization controller, and non-linear crystals. The A and B channels contain two-photon radiation polarization controllers, a polarization filter and/or a beam splitter. The correlation measurement module contains single-photon detectors connected to a pulse correlator that is connected to a computer. The coherent and thermal state source module contains a laser and a beam splitter that splits light into two channels, wherein one channel has a matt disc disposed therein for the random phase and amplitude modulation of the laser radiation. The technical result lies in expanding the functional capabilities of the bench, allowing the automation of experiments, and increasing measurement accuracy.
