(a) a pyridine carboxylate herbicide or an agriculturally acceptable N-oxide, salt or ester thereof, and (b) a synthetic auxin herbicide, an auxin transport inhibitor, an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof, or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof Compositions comprising the combination are disclosed herein. Also disclosed herein is a method for controlling undesirable vegetation, the method comprising (a) a pyridine carboxylate herbicide or an agriculturally acceptable N-oxide, salt or ester thereof and (b) a synthetic auxin herbicide, auxin and applying the transport inhibitor, an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof, or a combination thereof to the vegetation or areas adjacent to vegetation or to the soil or water to control the budding or growth of vegetation.
