To admit an inpatient to a sickroom suitable for preference of the indoor environment of the patient.SOLUTION: An inpatient management system includes: a terminal device which accepts inputting of preference of inpatient's indoor environment and requests a first server device to search a sickroom suitable for the inpatient by chatting with the first server device; and a second server device for searching the sickroom suitable for the inpatient on the basis of request from the first server device. The second server device includes: a sickroom information update part which periodically updates information on the indoor environment; and a sickroom search part for extracting the sickroom having a small difference between preference of the indoor environment of the inpatient on the basis of the preference of the indoor environment of the inpatient and information on the indoor environment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
