A camera drone for inspection of a transmission pylon of the present invention includes: a camera for generating photographing information for inspection of a transmission pylon; a control communication unit that performs data communication with the drone control device; a flight control module for controlling driving means for the flight of the drone; a storage unit for storing the shooting information; a pylon type determination unit that determines the type of the transmission pylon to be inspected and identifies the pylon or metal fittings installed in the pylon; a power line identification unit for tracking power lines connected between transmission pylons; a photographing control unit controlling the image photographing of the camera; and an operation control unit for controlling the flight of the drone for taking an image for inspection of the transmission pylon and the power line.
