A smart meter privacy protection method is disclosed. The smart meter privacy protection method of the present invention comprises the steps of setting an environment for a Markov decision process according to preset household information, and an actual power usage pattern that a user requests from a power provider in the environment of the Markov decision process. Learning a charging/discharging method of the battery according to the amount of information between the power usage pattern supplied to the user from the power provider, and controlling the charging/discharging of the battery according to the charging/discharging method. .
