The purpose of the present invention is to provide a camera calibration apparatus for a camera mounted on a moving object which adjusts the installation state of a camera mounted on a mobile body.A camera calibration assistant for a mobile body includes a feature point extraction section, a locus calculating section, and a comparison calculation processing section.The feature point extraction section extracts characteristic points in the image photographed by the moving camera.The locus calculating section calculates the locus of the characteristic points moving in the image by moving the moving object.The comparison processing processing section is provided with a trajectory of a feature point in a state deviated from a predetermined accurate installation state, and a prescribed locus in a predetermined accurate installation state, to a mobile body mounted camera calibration device An auxiliary control is performed by outputting a signal for returning the installation state of the camera mounted on the vehicle to a predetermined accurate installation state.
