Provided are a concrete admixture anti-seepage and anti-cracking shrinkage-reducing agent and preparation method thereof. The anti-seepage and anti-cracking shrinkage-reducing agent contains the following components: 35–45 parts by weight of alkali-modified diatomaceous earth, 15–22 parts by weight of magnesium oxide, 13–20 parts by weight of vermiculite, 8–11 parts by weight of borax, 3–9 parts by weight of sodium hexametaphosphate, and 7–13 parts by weight of citric-acid modified starch. The anti-seepage and anti-cracking shrinkage-reducing agent is used as an internal admixture when mixed with cement and is used in concrete, can fully improve the working performance of fresh concrete, reduce the shrinkage of concrete during the hardening process, and also significantly improve the compressive strength, tensile strength, hardness, and impermeability of hardened concrete, thereby greatly improving the durability of a concrete workpiece. In addition, the method for preparing the concrete admixture anti-seepage and anti-cracking shrinkage-reducing agent is simple and quick, and is suitable for large-scale industrial applications.
