The purpose of the present invention is to provide an erroneous start control device which accurately prevents an erroneous start of a vehicle. The erroneous start control device includes: a distance acquisition unit which acquires the distance between a foot of the driver of a vehicle and an acceleration pedal of the vehicle; a proceeding direction acquisition unit which acquires information about a first proceeding direction that is a proceeding direction of the vehicle and is estimated on the basis of an image of the driver captured by a camera and information about a second proceeding direction that is a proceeding direction of the vehicle and is detected on the basis of shift information about the vehicle; and a warning output control unit which performs a control for causing a notification device installed in the vehicle to output a warning, when the distance between the foot of the driver and the acceleration pedal is within a predetermined distance and the information about the first proceeding direction does not match the information about the second proceeding direction.
