The disclosed technology relates to a method and system for recording a work history using a glossary, comprising: a first step of receiving, in a terminology dictionary system, information about a user's work history by wirelessly communicating with a user terminal; a second step of searching, by the term dictionary system, a field term included in the work history with reference to a field term list stored in a database; a third step of searching, by the term dictionary system, at least one similar term matching the searched field term with reference to a list of similar terms stored in the database; a fourth step of selecting, by the term dictionary system, one term having the highest frequency of use by comparing the frequency of use of the field term and the frequency of use of the at least one similar term; and a fifth step of changing the field term of the work history to the selected term and storing it in the database. Therefore, there is an effect of changing the field term used only by specific users to a general expression.
