A combined protection system for riding is described, comprising a bracket (1) and a protective cover (2) and/or a coating (3).The overcoat is suitable to cover a rider's hip and hang on a girth from the rider's hip down.The protective cover is shaped and dimensioned,to cover the back of a horse from the rear of a saddle mounted on the horse to at least the tail end of the horse.The scaffolding and the protective cover and/or the scaffolding and the coating shall each have at least one pair of interconnected non-destructive, non-destructive and re-binding connecting elements enabling the protective cover and/or coating to be loosely and/or re-bonded to the scaffold.
