The present invention relates to vesicles derived from bacteria belonging to the genus Micrococcus and a use thereof. The inventors of the present invention experimentally confirmed that the content of the vesicles was significantly reduced in samples of patients with gastric cancer, pancreatic cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, bladder cancer, myocardial infarction, cardiomyopathy, atrial fibrillation, variant angina, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), dementia, or diabetes, as compared to that of normal individuals, and the vesicles significantly inhibited the secretion of inflammatory mediators due to pathogenic vesicles such as E. coli-derived vesicles when vesicles isolated from the strain were administered. Therefore, the vesicles derived from bacteria belonging to the genus Micrococcus, according to the present invention, may be effectively used for the development of a method of diagnosing gastric cancer, pancreatic cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, bladder cancer, myocardial infarction, cardiomyopathy, atrial fibrillation, variant angina, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), dementia, or diabetes, and a composition for preventing, alleviating, or treating the disease, and the like.
