PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor vehicle structure evaluation performance prediction method that can easily predict evaluation performance of a motor vehicle structure using a surface layer softening material, an evaluation performance prediction program, and a design method.;SOLUTION: An evaluation performance prediction method for a motor vehicle structure using a surface layer softening material includes: a homogeneous material data generation step of generating data of a homogeneous material; a homogeneous material evaluation performance acquisition step of acquiring evaluation performance M0 by performing numerical analysis on a first simulated structure; a modified homogeneous material data generation step of generating data of a modified homogeneous material; a modified homogeneous material evaluation performance acquisition step of acquiring modified evaluation performance M1 by performing numerical analysis on a second simulated structure; a plate thickness sensitivity calculation step of calculating plate thickness sensitivity x; a cross-sectional proof stress/total plastic moment calculation step of calculating cross-sectional proof stress Fa and total plastic moment Ma of the motor vehicle structure and cross-sectional proof stress Fb and total plastic moment Mb of the first simulated structure; and a prediction step of predicting evaluation performance M2 of the motor vehicle structure.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3;COPYRIGHT: (C)2021,JPO&INPIT
