Disclosed is a pneumatic pollination device for large-row-ratio hybrid rice seed production. The device comprises a pneumatic pollination component, a controller (17), a lifting adjusting component and a four-wheel power chassis (1), wherein the pneumatic pollination component is installed at the front portion of the four-wheel power chassis (1) by means of the lifting adjusting component, and is controlled by the lifting adjusting component to ascend and descend; and the controller (17) is installed on the upper portion of the four-wheel power chassis (1). Further disclosed is a pollination method of the pneumatic pollination device for large-row-ratio hybrid rice seed production. During pollination, an airflow of each pollination pipe acts on an ear portion of a corresponding hybrid rice male parent row, such that male parent pollen is separated from a stamen and drifts towards female parent compartments; the pollen is guaranteed to be conveyed to a main female parent action area due to different air flow speeds of the pollination pipes of the male parent rows; directional drifting and uniform pollination of the pollen are realized; and the mechanical efficient pollination of hybrid rice is realized.
