PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a face protection device easily attached to a wearer's head and a method for manufacturing the same. A face protection device 100 includes a transparent front surface portion 110 and a back surface portion 120 having a plurality of slits arranged alternately. The manufacturing method of the face protection device is a state in which a slit forming step of forming a plurality of slits alternately arranged in a predetermined portion of a sheet, and a predetermined portion and a portion in which a plurality of slits are not formed are connected.
