An intelligent magic mirror and an intelligent magic mirror awakening method, which relate to the technical field of the management of intelligent magic mirrors. The intelligent magic mirror comprises: a magic mirror body (101), an image collection module (102), a display module (103) and a controller, wherein the surface of the magic mirror body (101) is covered by a semi-transmissive and semi-reflective film layer; a light emission face of the display module (103) faces the magic mirror body (101), and the display module (103) is configured to display an image when in a working state; the image collection module (102) is configured to collect a facial image of a user when in a working state; and the controller is configured to determine facial orientation information of the user according to the facial image, and when the facial orientation information meets a preset condition and the duration reaches a preset time length, to awaken the display module (103) to make same enter the working state.
