A material inventory method and apparatus, and a warehousing robot and a warehousing system. The material inventory method is applied to the warehousing robot. The method comprises: collecting an inventory image of a target container by means of the warehousing robot (S201); and determining the inventory quantity of the materials in the target container according to the inventory image (S202). The inventory image of the target container is collected by means of the warehousing robot, the quantity of the materials of the target container is determined by means of image recognition of the inventory image, in-situ and automatic inventory of the materials is achieved, cross-region movement of the container does not need to be conducted, the material inventory efficiency is greatly improved, and the inventory cost is reduced.
