In particular, pollutant collection systems (SO x - NO x - particulate matter PM 10 and PM 2.5 ) found in exhaust gases produced by high power diesel engines (500 KW to 50 MW) designed for the marine sector. The system separates sulfite-sulfate and their recovery after transition to a solid state for transfer of the product to convenient industrial use. The sediment from sulfur removal can be readily used as a material for producing special agricultural fertilizers. The system is designed for rapid assembly downstream of the exhaust gas manifold as an integral part of the engine assembly. The use of this technique includes practical logistical advantages, as all elements end up with a solid sediment collected in a manufactured and easily manageable container for this purpose, without releasing contaminants into the external environment.
