An epidemiological investigation support system and method are provided. Accordingly, based on information such as the confirmed person''s entry/exit records, medical institution usage history, mobile communication information and card transaction history, the movement route of the confirmed person is automatically extracted with high accuracy, and the expected infection network based on the movement route of the confirmed person is automatically extracted and infected By automatically predicting risk areas, it is possible to reduce the workload of epidemiological investigators and help respond to viral infections such as COVID-19.
