A population information acquisition unit 114 that acquires population information, which is a set of information on the relative axial lengths of a plurality of comparable subjects to be compared with the examiner, and a subject calculated by the relative axial length calculation unit. By comparing the relative axial length of the examiner with the relative axial lengths of a plurality of compared persons included in the population information, the relative position of the relative axial lengths of the examinees in the set of compared persons is determined.
