As we become entrenched in the requirements ofrnPipeline Integrity rulemaking, the needs andrndemands of an Integrity Management Planrnshould become second nature within the PipelinernCompany or LDC organization.rnExisting staff will need to develop the designrnbasis and Operating and Maintenance responsesrnto mandates that will become standard. In facingrnthe many decisions on main design, assessmentrnand replacement, engineering personnel shouldrnhave the necessary tools to successfully addressrnissues that come up. Training of staff will be arnkey factor in preparing for a successful program.
