摘要

With rapid urbanization and tremendous changes on the urban development patterns and planning systems, the eco-planning for the urban soil and water conservation in China embraces unprecedented challenges. Starting from the culture of urban soil and water conservation, such as the relationship between man and nature, man and land, the paper analyzes the characteristics of some stages of urban soil and water conservation, and expounds how the eco-planning of modern urban soil and water conservation changes the concept of planning and design strategies under the framework of urban complex systems and ecology theory. The ultimate goal is to guide the chaotic urbanization and to meet the challenges that come from the climate of extremes.
