Filtrate clarification has been a result of technological endeavor to clarify filtrate of the vacuum filters at par with clear juice. Higher turbidity of clarified filtrate with respect to clear juice has been objectionable factor for passing on to evaporators by mixing the clarifiedfiltrate in clear juice and avoiding the recirculation of filtrates. Use of micro filter for filtering the clarified filtrates and removing most of colloidal impurities has opened new avenues in this direction. The present paper aims at describing the procedures and analytical results of a stabilized filtrate clarification system together with results giving work done for reducing the turbidity in clarified filtrate and bring the clarified filtered filtrate at par with clear juice in respect of turbidity I.e. maximum removal of colloidal impurities.
